In 2001, we developed a pioneering project which gave momentum to a sector that had no precedent in Spain: the professional construction of active leisure games for businesses in the adventure tourism industry.

In 2007, we formed the Vertikalist limited company with a clear aim and purpose: to provide this emerging sector with an expert in safety, construction and commissioning of active leisure and adventure projects. We have a skilled, technical team which combines extensive experience in the sector with the industrial production capacity needed to develop large-scale projects.

Since the mid 80s, the members of the Vertikalist team have actively participated in the development of this sector, acting as the driving force behind it and becoming a model to follow in many of the processes and systems that we know today.

Vertikalist sells both its own products as well as leading brands in the sector. All our interventions, services or final products come with the strictest guarantees of quality and environmental sensitivity, and are in line with CE and other certification regulations and legislation.

PROJECTS OF NOTE

These are creative and innovative projects which constitute progress in terms of the sector’s standards. Each new project is a step forward in their development – a milestone with our stamp on it. We were the first company in Spain to use crimped cable ferrules for cable ends, we installed the first RodeoStop, the first 900-metre zip line, we use continuous lifelines, we developed the first pulley with a speed control system, and so on.

We are constantly developing our technical and creative abilities and have production capacity to be able to cover simple interventions to large-scale, complex projects. Our experience has led to more than 50 customers trusting Vertikalist to develop their active leisure projects around the world. Some of the most representative include Spain, Dubai, Uruguay and Venezuela.
